Tell The US Senate: CONFIRM PETE SERRANO NOW!
Dear U.S. Senator,
Please support and vote for the confirmation of Pete Serrano as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington. Serrano was appointed by the President and is currently serving as Interim U.S. Attorney. The people he serves want him confirmed. I am a citizen and registered voter in Washington state. I’ve followed and supported Serrano’s work as the lead attorney for the Silent Majority Foundation, a respected nonprofit constitutional law firm based in Washington, and as mayor of Pasco in the Tri-Cities region of this state.
I’m disturbed to hear that Senator Patty Murray is attempting to block Serrano’s confirmation using the so-called “blue slip” process. This is not law-it’s a partisan maneuver. Please rise above politics and support Serrano’s confirmation. Pete Serrano represents the values of Eastern Washington. In his campaign for Washington State Attorney General, he received more votes in Eastern Washington counties than Senator Murray herself.
He is respected, trusted, and ready to serve. Please support Serrano’s confirmation as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington.
